I’m another primate occupying spacetime, just like you are. With my own sense of curiosity, challenges and perspective about the world and its inhabitants, I have been developing a particular approach to observe and interpret nature, translating reality into abstract arrangements through the power of geometry, colour, and simplicity.

I like to debate the traditional notions of perception and interpretation, rather than generating specific answers but to inspire new questions.

How we perceive the world and interpret reality, to engage rather than just to inform, to invite experimentation rather than just to look, but even more, to sense, thrive and grow.

Colour evokes innumerable readings, as texture creates different sensations. I aim to create sculptural pieces that captures both qualities and naturally fills up its own spacetime, just like you and me. And paper has always been part of my life with its tactile and playful material, it offers me the freedom to represent the world I see.

I'm a graphic artist with a design background. I studied graphic design (branding, typography, printing, packaging, editorial, publishing and advertising) in Sao Paulo, Brazil and at the University of Arts London, UK (fine arts, drawing and mix media printmaking).  I have over 25 years of experience working internationally across Brazil, UK, Europe, and Australia.

My bio says that my work exudes authenticity and that I create distinctive, vibrant, and colourful sculptures, animations, and illustration, inspired by human connection, nature, geometry, colour and playing with the concept of repetition and patterns, but I'm curious about what you think.

In my recent work, I've created a series of digital paintings and collages, exploring ideas related to the continuation, cycles, changes and transformations, playing with the interaction created between the medium and spectators.
