“A day at sea level” is part of the series of compositions “Hours at sea level”.
The series explores the universal concept of flux. The understanding that everything is in a constant state of movement, and the quantum ability of superposition, being in multiple states at the same time, until it is measured.
The hourly composition harnesses the ‘absolute’ sense of stillness from the horizon, generating a relative notion of cycles and rotation.
These cycles convey that this continuation is a never ending system, including and connecting all of us, as a reminder of the symbiotic relationship between nature and the constant process of change.
