It has been proven that human consciousness, directed in a specific way, can have a measurable effect on the molecular structure of water.
Because our bodies are 75% water, exposing the water we drink to positive thoughts will foster the same positive response in our body.
Water – it is all around us and inside of us.
While we may already know that our body is composed of 75% water and that we should drink 2-4 L of water per day, there’s still way more to learn when it comes to quenching our thirst.
What we may not know is that water has memory and carries both positive and negative energies, just like our thoughts.
A thought that we have in our mind may be more powerful than we think. Some scientists in recent times have investigated how a simple wish can have a physical effect in the material world.
Dr. Masaru Emoto is a Japanese scientist who has done several experiments on water and revolutionised the idea that our thoughts and wishes impact our physical realm.
The most important water researcher of our time, Dr. Emoto suggests that water will transform when exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds and intentions.
In his experiments Dr. Emoto exposed water to different words, sounds and music and then froze the water, taking high-speed photographs of water crystals as they formed. Dr. Massaru discovered that water has the ability to memorise and copy information that it is exposed to.
Based on Dr. Masaru Emoto experiments, I choose 6 power words for this project.
Good Vibes, positivity, gratitude, balance, harmony and love.
I've designed an unique typeface to write the power words, coloured each one using the psychological meaning of colours and printed them into clear stickers.
“Think, Wish & Drink” was selected to be part of the Floating Land: at the edge of ideas
9-24 October 2021

Temporarily wrapped in vibrant acrylic covers offering different positive messages, the public are invited to take a sticker with them that shares the same message.
By sticking an inspiring word on your water container, helps you to forge a meaningful connection to the water you drink and keep focusing on your thoughtful wishes to your body and surroundings.
This action assists you to foster a sense of well-being around you & others, emotionally and physically.
As part of the Floating Land festival, I facilitated a workshop:
Create your own think, wish & drink sticker

I've encouraged participants to choose some power words that resonate to them and discussed about composition and chromatic scheme (colour therapy and the psychology of colour). A template alphabet stencil was created  offering an opportunity to learn about typography and to use the letters to create a collage to make their own stickers. Participants were supported to make stickers for themselves and stickers to give, promoting the idea of spreading the positive wishes.
